Makeup Wednesdays: Real Techniques Stippling Brush

Hello Blog Lovers!! It’s been forever I know but, I haven’t forgotten about you guys to say the least! If you can remember I purchased a few brushes from the Real Techniques Collection a while ago and I have reviewed the core collection and the amazing blush brush. Today as a “comeback” post I will be reviewing the Stippling Brush.  As I have stated in previous posts these brushes were created by YouTube Guru (Pixiwoo) (subscribe to her channel she’s great!!)/ Makeup Artist Samantha Chapman and they can be purchased at Ulta and online here. Here are the stats on this brush:

This dual-fiber brush is the trade secret for creating airbrushed, high-definition results with all types of makeup:
  • look pixel-perfect even in harsh light
  • ultra-plush, synthetic taklon bristles are hand-cut and 100% cruelty-free
  • self-standing for easy storage
  • extended aluminum handle is light and easy to use

What I love about this brush compared to the only other stippling brush I own is doesn’t shed! I can apply a little bit of my foundation to my face and this brush will allow me to spread it on buff it into my skin for a flawless airbrushed finish. The head of the brush is dense and I assume this is what makes it great for buffing and offers no shedding. I love the fact that it stands up on its own like the blush brush and I don’t have to worry about it falling over onto the counter and smearing any left over product onto my bathroom sink (less to clean up). The brush is easy to clean and it’s so stinking cute in pink (love pink by the way)!  Just like before I highly recommend these brushes. Unlike other synthetic brushes they are extremely soft and not harsh against the skin. I’ve cleaned the brush a few times already since purchasing it and the ultra-plush feel remains (simply use baby shampoo or brush cleaner).  The brush retails for $10 and if your purchase the brush online from Ulta you will 50% off of your next brush!! What a deal! Check it out loves and let me know what you think!!

Make-up Wednesdays: Real Techniques Blush Brush

Hello Blog Lovers!! This Weeks Make-up Wednesday is the Real Techniques Blush Brush. If some can remember I reviewed the Real Techniques core collection a few posts ago (you can find it here). I loved those brushes so much I had to purchase more brushes (more reviews to come)!! This brush is also a synthetic bristle brush and it works great! I would recommend this brush for individuals that are new to make-up and are afraid to use blush. Blush should never be too heavy, but it should be subtle. This brush delivers subtle effects and allows you to gradually layer on your blush color without it being over done. It picks up color easy and allows you to apply the color evenly and smoothly to your face. It is sold alone and comes packaged alone without the stand. However, the shape of the brush will allow it to stand on it’s own with ease.  I purchased this product offline from Ulta. Check out the Stats below:
Contour and define cheeks for flawlessly blended, high-definition results:
  • look pixel-perfect even in harsh light
  • ultra-plush, synthetic taklon bristles are hand-cut and 100% cruelty-free
  • self-standing for easy storage
  • extended aluminum handle is light and easy to use (source)
I think I’ve already stated that I love this brush, but I really love this brush (for those who didn’t catch it the first time :)). I like to use it to layer my blush color and help to add shimmer to matte blush colors. I would definitely recommend giving this brush a try   because it is worth the purchase. I have incorporated it into my make-up routine and it works great for me!!

You can purchase this product and the entire Real Techniques Collection from the following retailers: Ulta, Love Make-Up Professional Beauty Supplier, Victoria Health, Cocktail Cosmetics, and Beauty Chamber. This brush is retailing for $9 at UIta and they currently are having a sale  (Buy one get the other 50% off) Check it out!!!

Make-up Wednesday’s: Real Techniques Core Collection Review

Hello Blog Lovers! For this weeks Make-up Wednesday I will be reviewing the core collection makeup brush set by Real Techniques. This brush collection was created by YouTube Guru (Pixiwoo) and professional Makeup artist Samantha Chapman. I purchased these bushes a few weeks ago and I wanted to use them before I reviewed them. I purchased this brush collection from my local ULTA and I love them so far. They are extremely soft and I have incorporated them in my makeup routine whenever I decide to do my makeup or a make up look. Check out the stats below:

Create a perfect canvas with this collection of coverage essentials:

  • includes 4 full-size brushes + case:
    • detailer brush: precision cut to effortlessly conceal problem areas; or, use with lipstick for long-lasting shape and definition
    • pointed foundation brush: Use with liquid foundation to build custom coverage
    • buffing brush: ideal for full coverage application of powder and mineral foundation
    • contour brush: delicately applies highlighter to contour or create sheer, soft-focus finish
    • panoramic brush case is a 2-in-1 case + stand
  • look pixel-perfect even in harsh light
  • ultra-plush, synthetic taklon bristles are hand-cut and 100% cruelty-free
  • extended aluminum handles are light and easy to use

I love the buffing brush because it give a really flawless application. The contour brush is my favorite because it allows you to give a soft contour to the face with over doing it. I use the pointed foundation brush to conceal my under eye area and I love it because it allows me to give a smooth coverage at the same time allowing me to build coverage. The collection comes with its own carrying case which turns into a stand that you can use while using the brushes on the go or when you travel. It’s compact so it will fit into your purse or day bag. I loved these brushes so much I purchased the other sets and a few more brushes to try.  I would definitely suggest these brushes to newbies and makeup fanatics and artists because they are affordable and of excellent quality.
